Additionally, expertise in integrating automation and robotics, managing costs, ensuring safety compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams is essential. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Additional certifications in CNC programming, CAM software, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are beneficial.
