The Manufacturing Engineer and Programmer should possess in-depth knowledge of designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, programming CNC machines, and ensuring that production operations are efficient, cost-effective, and high in quality. The role requires familiarity with process development, machine programming, production scheduling, quality control, and troubleshooting. Additionally, expertise in integrating automation and robotics, managing costs, ensuring safety compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams is essential. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Additional certifications in CNC programming, CAM software, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are beneficial.
